We've been spending a lot of time in the sub-frequencies lately. There's a specific type of tension that can only be built with a Moog and a dusty acoustic guitar.
The 'Neon Tears' sessions were about contrast. We wanted the verses to feel like a lonely desert diner at 3 AM, and the choruses to feel like a massive industrial warehouse rave.
